We believe the best love stories start with friendship. We were best friends before we started dating, and Jess really thought we would just be friends, but James was in hot pursuit and had very different plans. One kiss changed everything and… here we are in December celebrating 3 years of marriage. They say friends make the best lovers, and the best part about being friends first is you have a solid foundation and know each other inside and out.

Jon and Sarah have been friends since their freshman year in college and started dating their senior year. They are extroverted through and through and love to adventure together and express their love to each other in every way possible. They truly are the best of friends and always willing to meet new people. The second you meet them they feel like friends, because they are so good at making everyone feel welcome! They have warm smiles, big hearts, and they love so well.

They found us through the surprise beach proposal (you know, the dreamy proposal with the girl in a red Free People dress), and as soon as they contacted us and told us their plans for their wedding day at Calimigos Ranch we were absolutely thrilled! Jon and Sarah have a beautiful passion for love and marriage, and we were completely smitten by their appreciation for travel. They love the thrill of a new place, and are always up for an adventure as long as it can be experienced together. As they walk through engagement they are so excited for all the treasures and experiences God will put in their path along the way. We are honored to be a part of this season, we’re excited to share a few of our favorites from their engagement, and we cannot wait for them to tie the knot this summer!
