Tim and Jen have a great story of how hey ended up in Santa Barbara. They both lived in Washington DC and Tim was offered a job out in Santa Barbara. He decided to take the job and move to paradise, and he really wanted Jen to move out there with him!! Jen said the only way she would move cross country was if she had a job or an engagement ring….

Well…it wasn’t long before she visited Tim and they went kayaking out off the pier, and he proposed while they were kayaking!!! He even tied the ring to fishing line just in case it slipped. (such a smart move Tim!!)
After the proposal Jen packed up and moved out here to beautiful Santa Barbara and started planning the wedding!

We had such a fun time on the engagement session and we did it right by where Tim proposed! Such a fun shoot, with perfect sunshine and another beautiful winter day in paradise! 

During the shoot, we saw dolphins off the end of the pier right where he proposed!! So special!!
