We believe the best love stories start with friendship. Taylor is from a little town in the English Countryside called Marlow, and Lynnsie is from southern Georgia. They met at a conference where they were both learning more about how to lead worship at their churches. They both have such a beautiful heart for the Lord and are incredibly talented musicians. They went to the conference with zero intention of meeting someone, which always seems to be that you find someone when you’re least expecting it! Taylor was mesmerized by Lynnsie’s beautiful blond locks, and Lynnsie loved the way Taylor made her laugh. During the conference they got to know each other’s heart and love for all things music, and they became great friends, and it was clear to everyone they had so much fun when they were around each other. But on the last day of the conference they said goodbye and went on their separate ways, but our story doesn’t stop here! Taylor took a train up to NYC and while on the train his friend next to him encouraged him to go for Lynnsie. She had seen their chemistry, and the way they bring out the best in each other and laugh till they have tears streaming down their cheeks, and she told him he would be silly not to at least try. Taylor thought about it and realized he had nothing to loose, and if it didn’t work out he would probably never see her again. When he contacted her and told her about his feelings, it was like sparks flew across the Atlantic. And thus began their long distance love story. At the time Lynnsie was in California and Taylor was back in England, so they would keep up their relationship through FaceTime, Skype, texts and calls and though it was exhausting to be so far away from each other, they knew what they have is worth fighting for!
In December Taylor flew out to surprise Lynnsie and a few days into his surprise trip he took her to the redwoods and proposed! It was a perfect surprise and they were absolutely thrilled to begin planning their life together. When they contacted us and asked us if they could hire us and fly us out to England to photograph the wedding we were beyond thrilled! Oh what an honor! They booked the flights and we started preparing for the adventure!
When we arrived in England we were completely smitten! We are city people and we love the city of London, but as they drove us into the english countryside and we watched the colorful leaves fall and blow in the wind along the rolling green hills, we felt like we were in heaven! Taylor and Lynnsie got married at The Crown Inn which is about an hour west of London, and it is beautiful! The venue was very popular back in the 1960s because it was the first location outside of London to get a late night liquor license, so they hosted many famous musicians such as George Harrison and people came by the hundreds to see some of the best. On their wedding day, we anxiously and excitedly watched out the window as guests arrived, and we both knew this was going to be a very special day. Their friends and family were coming to celebrate the best union they could ever imagine for Taylor and Lynnsie. They truly bring out the best one each other and make each other better! When Lynnsie walked down the aisle we both cried! There was something so special and pure about their relationship and the moment Taylor saw his bride, there wasn’t a dry eye in the audience! After a beautiful ceremony we went up the hill to a classic church and took portraits of Taylor and Lynnsie spinning around with the gorgeous rolling hills as a background! Oh what a dream! Then we headed back to the Crown Inn and Taylor surprised Lynnsie with a song he wrote when they were dating, that he had never played for her before! We cried again as we watched him pour out his love for her, and then we joined everyone on the dance floor as we celebrated their love with friends and family! The night ended with a beautiful sparkler exit and they left for Hawaii the next morning! We are still on cloud nine from this incredible celebration and we are some excited to share a few of our favorites!
