Oh how we love springtime engagement sessions! Montecito is bursting with beautiful greens and wildflowers right now, and we were in creative heaven as we walked toward the coast and found an unexpected surprise!

We love Sean and Sara! The love they have for each other is playful and fun. It’s a sweet sweet love that makes our job of photographing them a total breeze! I mean, we started on a carousel, so that was pretty much a dream come true! And then we walked through golden light and gorgeous bougainvillea to a private beach and found a washed up ship just waiting for us! We were a little sad for the boat owner, but we were so exited we could give it some new life! They danced, laughed, and kissed as the perfect springtime sun set on our coastal session, and it was as dreamy as dreamy can be! Jess also had an extra amount of fun photographing Sara’s ring because it’s a Tiffany & Co ring, (well done Sean) and ooooh how she loves the way a Tiffany’s diamond shines!

We loved everything about this engagement session, and it was an extra special one for us because Sara is on the inside. And by that we mean, she works at one of the best catering companies in town, Omni Catering, and we have worked with her for years! From the second we met Sara we could tell she was warm, kind, inviting, funny, and such a hard worker. This girl can hustle, and make stuff happen all with a smile on her face. We have seen her save the day at a wedding time and time again, and we can honestly say weddings are better with her there! SO when she asked us to photograph her wedding, we were deeply honored! She has worked with incredible vendors, so we knew how great of a compliment this is, and we are still blushing when we think about it! And we had heard many things about Sean from Sara, and before we met him we had already started to love him based on what Sara told us! When got to meet him, we became instant friends! He is charming and sweet, and his love for Sara is steady and unwavering. She told us stories of how he will wait up all night till she comes home from a working a wedding, because he wants to hear about how the day went and how she’s doing! Oh how we love couples who are best friends and love everything about living life together! Fun fact: they have a dog named Junior, and for any of you Indiana Jones fans out there like us, you know how brilliant this is! We cannot stop smiling as we think of this wonderful couple, and we are absolutely thrilled to share this beautiful engagement session with you, and so excited for their wedding next spring!
