When Cory and Kara told us they were planning a classy wedding on the rooftop of the Canary overlooking Santa Barbara, we felt like we won the lottery! We were beyond excited because the Canary’s rooftop has one of the best views of Santa Barbara, and its classy Spanish inspired architecture makes for incredible photographs! Cory and Kara are incredible. These two have the kind of love that makes you want to be around them more and more. They are not only adorable together, but they make you feel at ease and are the kind of people you want to keep around. When we first met them for dinner at The Lark we lost track of time and had a 4 hour dinner and laughed till we cried. We immediately knew their wedding was going to be incredible, and we started counting down the days till we got to see them again!

Their wedding day was the perfect celebration! It started with Style Me Kristi on hair and makeup for the bridesmaids, and from the second we walked in the bridal suite we were greeted with hugs and felt like we were family! We loved this classy bride’s details, and we just about gasped when we saw the bride’s Hayley Paige gown! Those ruffles catch light like a dream! Once the girls were ready we grabbed the gorgeous bouquets by Precious & Blooming, and headed over to the Santa Barbara Court House for a first look, and just wait till you see the groom’s reaction, it even brought a few tears to our eyes! Then we did bridal party photos and family photos and headed back for the ceremony. The guests arrived and quickly fell in love with the view, then after they were seated and the bridal party walked down the aisle it felt like everyone was smiling. As we turned to see Kara and her dad at the top of the stairs just looking out over the ceremony and taking it all in, and laughing with each other, we all started to get a little emotional. This ceremony was filled with joyful tears and laughter and it is so clear they are deeply in love with each other and loved so well by their family and friends. Everything about the wedding day ran perfectly, and you know you have an amazing wedding planner when you’re ahead of schedule most of the day! Sophie of Amazing Day Events coordinated with charm and ease and made us laugh uncontrollably at the vendor dinner table. And Dj Zeke did a fantastic job keeping the dance floor packed, and the guests danced and celebrated the night away! It truly was a perfect celebration and we are so excited to share this beautiful and classy wedding with you!
