Clay and Liz have that kind of chemistry that makes you want to fall in love. The second they look at each other it’s like there’s no one else around, and then they crack a smile and break into laughter. Being around them is like a breath of fresh air, and we both found ourselves telling them how adorable they are the whole shoot! Clay and Liz have been together for over 5 years and they got engaged in Maui. And get this, where they got engaged is where we are doing a wedding next spring. How fun is that!? Our couples truly have the best taste, and such incredible travels!

We had such a wonderful time hanging out with these two and taking photos around Santa Barbara. We met at Good Lion for drinks beforehand, and the second they walked in they looked like they were glowing! We found out later that Clay had bought a bracelet for her as a surprise, and gave it to her right before they arrived for drinks with us! She was completely surprised and we absolutely love how thoughtful he is! Also, a little extra excitement and glow is always a good idea for photos! We loved spending time getting to know more about them, and we are SO excited for their wedding at the Belmond El Encanto with Wedding Kate!
