When they arrived for their engagement session our jaws just about dropped to the floor! We love when our clients dress up for their engagement session! I mean, when else do you get to dress up and have your photo taken in non-wedding clothes and such a significant time in your life?! We always send over helpful information about what photographs best, and we absolutely love how Anna took our ideas and picked such gorgeous dresses! And can we just talk about the gorgeous Flynn Skye two piece she wore for the second half of the shoot? We are obsessed, and we believe Flynn Skye is always a good idea!

After we picked our jaws up off the floor, we started the engagement session with the incredible frozè at Lucky Penny and then we walked around the Funk Zone to find the best walkways and walls covered in vines. As the sun started to set we walked out on to Stern’s Wharf and as the golden light caught the lace on her dress we truly felt like we were in heaven! And we love the way they interact with each other. So many sweet forehead kisses and glances that make our hearts melt!

At the beginning of almost every engagement session the guy will say something along the lines of how he “is not photogenic” and then by the end they are always laughing and smiling and having a great time with their fiancee. That’s one of the many things we love about engagement sessions because we get to see and help the couple go from nervous to relaxed, and timid to confident. We started with simple things like walking, and by the end they were trying crazy complicated dance moved and nailing it! We had so much fun with this couple and we are so excited for their wedding next spring!
