The second we walked in and saw the beautiful ceremony location, we knew it was going to be a gorgeous wedding! Sean and Olivia are best of friends and love doing life together! And we love the way they look at each other like no one else is around. Olivia was the calmest bride we’ve ever experienced! She was so excited to marry Sean, nothing could bother her or stress her out. They both live out of state and had to plan most of this destination wedding from afar, but she was always organized and at peace. She had her mind set on marrying the love of her life with her friends and family, and her perspective was like a breath of fresh air. Oh how we love when brides are more excited about the celebration than the stress of planning a perfect wedding.
The day started with the ladies getting ready in the bridal suite of the Pierpont Inn with a gorgeous view of the ocean. When Olivia slipped into her gorgeous Martina Liana gown, and she turned around for us to see the long train we almost fainted with happiness! Oh how we love long trains on dresses! We loved the way her bridesmaids celebrated and supported her throughout the day, and the groomsmen did the same. Sean and Olivia have such incredible friends who stood by them on their wedding day, and it brought us so much joy to see them be so well loved and celebrated. We loved their elegant details, and the florals by Green + Crumb had us smiling all day long! They had a beautiful ceremony officiated by Nate Wagner (who was Jess’ high school pastor) and we both tried not to cry when we saw the groom’s face as he watched his stunning bride walk down the aisle! One of our favorite parts of the day was during the speeches, grandma got up and interrupted the maid of honor’s speech and started telling her own version of the story! The maid of honor handed over the mic and grandma had a ball! It was absolutely hilarious, and a moment they will never forget. Oh what wonderful wedding day filled with laughter and celebration and we are so excited to share this elegant Ventura wedding with you!
