Chris proposed over memorial day weekend in the sweetest way. Butterfly beach in Santa Barbara was a special place for them, so he proposed on the beach and then they walked up to the Biltmore and their families were there to surprise Sadie! Such a special moment, and the perfect way to celebrate their engagement!

They got married at Bates Ranch House in Carpinteria, on a beautiful September day. The girls and guys both got ready on property, and the house was filled with excitement as they prepared for their first look. When Sadie was ready we walked Chris out under an oak tree and he waited for his bride. They were both nervous, and Sadie was shaking a little. But Chris is the one who calms her down, so seeing each other before the wedding was exactly what they needed. She is his person, and he is her person, and they knew they needed to be with each other before the craziness of the day. Their first look was beautiful! They both cried as they just looked at each other and realized the incredible day that lay ahead of them! Planning a wedding can be such an overwhelming process, but when it came to the actual day as soon as they saw each other they knew it was going to be a perfect celebration of their love! And indeed it was! The ceremony had a backdrop of mountains, and the reception overlooked the ocean, such a Santa Barbara dream! They spoke beautiful views to one another, enjoyed their cocktail hour with their guests, and we threw rose petals in the air as the golden sun set over the ocean behind us. The dance floor was packed all night thanks to the incredible live band Area 51, and their guests sent them of in style with a beautiful sparkler exit! We cannot imagine a more perfect day, and we are thrilled to share it with you!
