We are unbelievably thankful for 2016! We traveled the world together and photographed some of the most beautiful, genuine, classy, and madly in love couples! We went to Europe twice (and we are still pinching ourselves about that) as well as explored so many amazing places: Reykjavik Iceland, London, Paris, the English countryside, Chicago, Savannah, Orlando, Portland, Kennebunkport, Boston, just to name a few!

We are in love with our 2016 couples! When we photograph a wedding we get to do so much more than take photos. We laugh with you in those joyous moments, tears will roll down our faces as we document you vowing your lives to one another, we will fix your bowtie, brush those few strands of hair out of your face, and ladies Jess will bustle your dress and ensure your cleavage looks its best!  We become your eyes on your wedding day, capturing the details and filling in the cracks  to make sure nothing is overlooked. Our favorite thing about this is how it allows you to be present in the midst of it all as we capture a timeless enduring record of your wedding! We truly become emotionally invested to each James & Jess couple, and love to take away stress and add peace in every way possible!

This was without a doubt the best year of our lives thus far! We learned more about ourselves and how our (very different) personalities work so well together, and the more we learned how to love and listen the more we truly we fell in love with each other! We made incredible friendships with leaders in our industry and we learned the importance of priorities and where our true joy lies. We are so thankful God has given us the opportunity to work together to love and serve our couples, and we are blown away by the life-giving joy that comes from walking in who we were created to be.
