Tye and Moriah are so in love and made our job easy! This wedding was extra special for us because James was a groomsman and Tye watched us fall in love and was part of our story! it makes our hearts so happy to see him head over heels for his stunning wife!
Their wedding day was filled with joy, laughter and happy tears! They had a first look that gave us all chills, a ceremony on the bluffs overlooking the ocean, and a reception filled with dancing, laughter and celebration! And It was so fun to see James and Jeremy give speeches as groomsmen! When you get to watch your friends fall in love and then you get to experience their wedding day, it is truly so special!
Tye and Moriah grew up together in Texas and Tye liked Moriah the very first day he saw her. He was captivated by her angelic beauty and loved those bright beautiful red lips. Can you blame him? She is such a babe! Moriah took a little more time to fall for Tye. They became close friends, actually best friends. They would spend so much time together and pour our their hearts and adventure together and they never wanted to say goodbye. When it came time to say goodbye they would go in for a hug and continue hugging for 10 minutes! He loved her beauty, thoughtfulness and creativity and she loved his heart and passion for life but whenever he told her his feelings for her she would say she just wanted to be friends. She actually broke his heart twice by telling him she did not want to be more than friends with him!
But Tye is strong, diligent and relentless and would not let it stop him, he stayed a dependable friend and remained close to her. Moriah is very wise and continued to deepen her friendship with him, because she knew she he would be in her life for a long time. Then Tye moved away from Texas and out to Santa Barbara to go to Brook’s Institute of Photography and things started to change. He truly found himself when he moved out here, and he grew into an incredible and handsome young man. As their friendship grew closer, even with distance, she watched as he became an admirable, consistent and confident man. So in the midst of all this Moriah planned a trip out to visit Tye in Santa Barbara. This is when Jess stepped in and reminded Tye that Moriah was flying out here to spend time with him and her girls will be waiting back in Texas expecting a story when she returns. So needless to say during her trip they really really began to fall for each other, and sparks flew and they began to date, and it felt like all of Texas and Santa Barbara were celebrating! Watching your friends fall in love is such a beautiful thing!
I (James) met Tye back in college at Brooks and Tye has been one of the most amazing and dependable friends I have ever had. When I first moved to Santa Barbara I lived in a boat in the harbor. The boat was named, the Salty Lady, and she rocked me to sleep every night! One day I learned I had to move out immediately because they found rust on the boat and it had to be taken out of the harbor. With nowhere to live I wondered where I was going to sleep, and without skipping a beat Tye offered for me to move in with him, even though we had only been friends for a month or two. His generosity and kindness are incredible and I can only imagine what a wonderful husband he will be to his gorgeous wife Moriah!
Tye was there for every part of our love story. He was at my apartment the very first time Jess and I hung out, and was with us on so many Santa Barbara adventures, and he was even photographing a wedding with Jess the day she realized she had feeling for me! Tye and Moriah are amazing friends, are we are so thankful to have them in our lives!
They are also incredibly talented videographers and their company videoed our
proposal and our
wedding. (We still can’t get through the videos without crying happy tears, and if you watch them you’ll see why).
We are beyond excited to share this incredible wedding with you!
