Dos Pueblos Ranch Wedding
This Dos Pueblos Ranch Wedding was a perfect celebration! A ceremony overlooking the ocean, a live jazz band and mariachi band, a reception on the beach at sunset, and a beautiful couple inside and out, made for a fabulous wedding!
From the second we met Cole & Meg we could tell how perfect they are for each other. There is something so comfortable about their love. Being around them feels like a breath of fresh air. Their families have a beautiful history of love and marriage. The bride honored them by wearing her great great grandmother’s earrings, holding her great grandmother’s purse. All the place cards and table numbers like this beautiful “love” card were handmade by the bride & her grandma. You know how much we love pretty details, especially when they have such rich history and meaning.
Everything about the wedding day was beautiful. Dreamy florals by Ella & Louie, bridesmaids in beautiful blue chiffon dresses, and groomsmen in blue suits. The flower girl had never heard the term “flower girl” before so we called her the flower girl princess all day and she was glowing from beginning to end! Meg’s stunning Essense of Australia gown perfectly flowed as she mingled during cocktail hour an dance the night away. And we couldn’t help but smile as every detail came together for a perfect celebration.
The ceremony took place on the bluffs overlooking the ocean, with a beautiful backdrop of florals. The jazz band played throughout the ceremony, and the words were officiated by the bride’s lifelong friend Jenny. They shared the story of how they met and fell in love (from both of their perspectives) during the ceremony and it had all their guests laughing and enjoying their love story. As they kissed and walked back up the aisle the guests white threw rose petals which made for a some of our favorite photos! Then the guests walked down the hill to an amazing cocktail hour with lounge furniture, corn hole, umbrellas set up on the private beach for guests to enjoy the ocean, incredible margaritas and appetizers, and a mariachi band that guests sang along with. As we took the bride and groom’s portraits, the groom was hoping to make it to cocktail hour and listen to one mariachi song. Then we heard the mariachi music getting louder and louder and suddenly the mariachi band was right next to us! They came over to play for the bride and groom! Cole and Meg practiced their first dance as they played for them, and it felt like something out of a dream! Their reception was filled with laughter and happy tears as the guests ate, drank and danced under the stars. Then right after the last song played, a classic Rolys Royce pulled up (total surprise to bride and groom) as their get away car! And guess what, it was the EXACT car we had on OUR WEDDING DAY as our getaway car!
It was an incredible day with so many beautiful details and candid moments of guests enjoying the celebrations, and we are thrilled to share their day with you!
