The second we arrived at Rancho La Patera Stow House, we felt like we were on a southern plantation. A beautiful historical house, and gorgeous landscaping all surrounded by a lake. It’s such a hidden gem in Santa Barbara County. Connor and Katie planned a beautiful wedding at Rancho La Patera & StowHouse in Goleta. We learned that the Ranch was originally used as the center of the Goleta lemon trade, and today it is a historical museum with beautiful gardens which are perfect for a wedding like this one!

Connor and Katie met in high school and are such a cute couple. They balance each other out so well, and we love the way they interact.  She can make him laugh with just a look or a few words, and we love how he looks at her.

They got ready at separate houses, and they both had fun, relaxed and chill mornings. We love when our couples surround themselves with friends who make the wedding day even better! When they arrived at the ranch for the first look, we were so excited for their reactions! We always love when our couples do a first look, and these two were so cute! The second Connor saw his bride and just couldn’t stop smiling! 

Speaking of smiling, we couldn’t stop smiling as soon as we met the cutest little flower girl ever! The bride’s mini pony named “Lil Lass” was the flower girl and for any of you who are Parks & Rec fans, yes, we felt like we photographed the celebrity Lil Sebastian! She was absolutely adorable, and sassy as can be. And Lil Lass even jumped up while they went in for their kiss as they were pronounced husband and wife. It couldn’t have been any more perfect!

Guests enjoyed cocktail hour and reception on the lawn outside StowHouse. It was a beautiful sunny day, and we loved watching their friends and family share stories of how they know the lovely couple. The day ended with sunset photos on the bridge overlooking Lake Los Carneros and an amazing tunnel send off with all their guests! We had an amazing time celebrating and photographing this couple and we are so excited to share the day with you!
