Quail Ranch

We knew after our first meeting with Anna and Tom that their wedding day was going to be special. From the way they talk about each other, to their incredible style and taste, there was no doubt in our mind this was going to be one of our favorite weddings! And then we learned they were getting married at Quail Ranch and we were thrilled! We have looked forward to photographing weddings at this venue, and Quail Ranch did not disappoint! The white stucco building with red tile roof, surrounded by oak and olive trees, and a perfect pop of bougainvillea…needless to say we were in creative heaven! We already have another wedding booked at Quail Ranch in 2019, and we can’t wait to be back! If you’re still looking for a venue, you should definitely check this one out!

The day was filled with incredible moments, but our FAVORITE moment came when Anna and her dad descended the staircase during the ceremony. Not a single eye was left dry. Even people who were self-proclaimed “not emotional” started wiping their eyes. It was such a beautiful depiction of Anna’s strong relationship with her family. Both Tom and Anna have incredible examples of marriage on both sides and it was so evident throughout the day how much that has impacted them!

The reception was absolutely stunning and full of hilarious toasts, tons of laughter, and some truly inspiring dance moves. Tom’s sister joked in her speech that the money Tom still owes her after losing a bet during a Kings game will now have to be paid by Anna due to their shared bank account! Anna’s older brothers talked about their protective side and how when she was younger they would respond to any guy that would message her on MySpace without her knowing. When Tom came around, they remained protective and a bit skeptical, but back in those days Tom skinny, they thought they could take him. Those days didn’t last long though, because Tom started training to be a cop, and it was suddenly clear who was the strongest of them all. Through all the toasts the message was clear: Tom loves Anna so well, takes care of her, and pursues every day. They are best friends, and they both consistently put each other above their own needs, and we know they are going to have an incredible marriage!

Another super fun part of the day was running into two couples whose weddings we have photographed in the past!! Both of them have kids now and it is so fun to get to see our James and Jess brides and grooms as their lives and families grow!

Overall, the celebration was BEAUTIFUL and it was such an amazing joy to be part of Tom and Anna’s day. We are so excited for them as they begin their marriage!! Here are a few of our favorite shots from their special day.
