Fess Parker Winery

Surrounded by oak and sycamore trees and a perfectly manicured vineyard, Fess Parker Winery is nestled in the hills of Los Olivos and was the perfect location for Cody & Kendra’s wedding! We have photographed several weddings at the Fess Parker on the oceanfront in Santa Barbara, but this was our first time photographing a wedding at Fess Parker Winery & Vineyard in Santa Ynez and we fell in love with the venue! The drive up north to the vineyard is absolutely beautiful. When you arrive at Fess Parker Winery you drive through well maintained landscape and lush vineyards that surround the property. The first thing we noticed was the beautiful wrap around porch and people relaxing and sipping wine in the autumn sunshine. It is a perfect location for a wedding. The ceremony was located just a few steps away and the guests get to walk through a vineyard that opens up to the ceremony. And get this, every guest was greeted with rosé, which if we’re being honest, is exactly how we prefer to be greeted too! It feels like a vineyard wonderland, and as soon as the sunset ceremony started the guests had rosé in hand and were ready to celebrate!

The ceremony was short and sweet and perfect! They each wrote their own vows and included heart felt promises as well as promises to watch their favorite sports and tv shows…like Teen Mom! We love when our couples plan a wedding that is a reflection of who they are as a couples and they did just that! After a beautiful ceremony guests walked back through the vineyard (which is so fun) over to the reception for an incredible meal by Omni catering, and speeches that made us all tear up a little! We love the way they surround themselves with incredible friends who love and support them in all seasons, and know how to celebrate! The reception area is equally as beautiful with fall leaves on the ground, neutral linens, bistro dining chairs  and just wait till you see how well the space was designed by Tyler Speier! The fall florals, hand calligraphed menus, olive table runner, and fall fruits had us swooning! After speeches guests walked over to the true party zone where the dance floor was located. The dance floor was a patio covered in bistro lights and lined with giant fireplaces. They had beautiful father daughter and mother son dances, and then DJ Hecktik kept the dance floor packed all night long! We had so much fun photographing this beautiful wedding and we are so excited to share it with you!
