Such rich and beautiful history is intertwined in this love story. Jeff and Amber come from families who have lived in Santa Barbara for many generations, and the groom’s family is NINTH generation! So a downtown SB wedding at El Presidio and a reception at El Paseo was the perfect way to celebrate! The groom’s ancestors built the presidio hundreds of years ago, and their name is written on the walls of the presidio, which means they laid the tile for him to walk down generations later to wed his beautiful bride. We were honored to be a part of such a beautiful history.
The wedding day started with gorgeous details, (Jess had some serious shoe envy when she saw Amber’s sparkle heels by Badgley Mischka), and one of the prettiest bridesmaid dress and bouquet combinations we have ever seen!Once again Tyler Speier did a fantastic job on coordinating the wedding day and creating all the florals! The bride got ready with her beautiful bridesmaids inside one of the rooms at the presidio, and the groom arrived in style with his groomsmen. When Amber put her dress on it took our breath away. She is such a stunning bride, and the dress was absolutely perfect! Then she did a first-look with her dad and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room! When Jeff and his men arrived, their suits looked incredible! Jeff and Amber eagerly awaited to see each other as all their guests arrived and started pouring into the doors the groom’s family built nine generations ago. They had a beautiful ceremony, with an epic kiss, and as they walked back up the aisle all of their guests joined them outside for a canon ceremony! They launched a canon and all the guests cheered and celebrated! Then a mariachi band led the guests down the street all the way to El Paseo where they drank, ate, danced and enjoyed celebrating Jeff and Amber’s marriage! It was a beautiful day filled to the brim with celebration and we are absolutely thrilled to share a few of our favorites with you.
