Sogno del Fiore

Mitch and Chelsea bring out the best in each other. They are truly best friends, and they perfectly exemplify that two are better than one. They have been together for eight years and they have grown so much together and compliment each other so well. 

Chelsea has the ability to make everyone feel like the most important person in the world. She said that the best part of every day is seeing Mitch walk in the door. And that the anticipation and excitement she feels when she sees him has not lessened one bit since the day she met him 8 years ago. We love the way they love each other! 

They all got ready at a cute boutique hotel called the Landsby in Solvang. The Landsby is designed so well, and there are custom painted portraits of Llamas everywhere, which just makes us smile! The amazing girls from TEAM Hair & Makeup got all the girls ready, and they looked absolutely gorgeous! 

We took our favorite transportation company: Jump on the School Bus over to the venue, Songno del Fiore, and the second we arrived everything already looked beautiful! Bright Event rentals and just finished setting up, and Ella & Louie was putting the finishing touches on the gorgeous florals! We got them into place and ready for the first look. They had one of the best first looks we’ve ever seen. They both cried, and he wiped the tears from her face. We love the connection they have. It’s so clear they are best friends, and care for each other so well! 

Their guests arrived by bus, that said on the side “Chelsea & Mitchell’s Wedding 10.08.18.” We love how Jump on the School Bus makes their busses so personal to each wedding! When the ceremony started, people started pulling out their tissues before Chelsea even walked down the aisle. These two have been together for a while, and everyone there was so excited for them to get married. They exchanged beautiful vows, that were heartfelt and so emotional, and so sweet! We loved their vows so much we actually wanted to share a snippet of them with you! 

Chelsea “Long before you asked me, I was yours and I am devoted to you in every way. I marry you with no hesitation or doubt, and my commitment to you is absolutely and unwavering. I love you unconditionally and without hesitation because of your strength of character, because you are honest, and because you are the most trustworthy person I know”

Mitch: “To the one who has been and will remain my best friend. I do not deserve the ways you have loved me. I promise to never stop being myself and never stop you from being yourself. Each of us in love with the other’s true self. You make me happy, and I want to make you proud. My love for you is and always will be unconditional. I will fight for us. Forever and always, you are my other person, you’re my wife.”

They are couple goals in every way, and we had to wipe the happy tears from eyes after those vows!

Guests enjoyed cocktail hour around the pool, as we took golden light photos of them in the vineyard. We love the grounds at Sogno and we were so thankful we got to take sunset photos in the vineyard! Then guests sat down on the upper lawn for a delicious meal by Pure Joy Catering, and beautiful speeches that made us all cry all over again. After dinner, guests headed down toward the pool where DJ Gavin Roy kept the dance floor packed all night. It was a magical evening and we’re so excited to share a few of our favorites with you.
