Gainey Vineyard

The day started with the girls getting ready at Danielle’s family’s house in Hope Ranch. When Jess walked in the girls were calm, relaxed, and hanging out as the bride got her final touches. Oh and they were drinking rosè of course! It was the perfect way to start the morning! The amazing girls at Unvieled did a wonderful job on all the girl’s hair and makeup. As soon as Danielle and her girls were ready, and they all looked incredible, they got on the bus via Jump on the School Bus and headed to Santa Ynez gallery for the wedding. We always love working with Jump on the School Bus because their busses are black with white lettering on the side and it can be customized! Chris and Danielle had one side that said their names, and the other side was their hashtag #cholewatime

Meanwhile James was with the guys as they got ready at the new Hotel Californian in the Funk Zone. The rooms are awesome! They are well designed with high ceilings, and the patterns on the walls made for some awesome getting ready shots! The guys enjoyed Captain Fatty’s beer (James’ favorite) as they got ready for then day, and they headed up the valley on one of the busses as well.

When they all arrived it was time for the first look. Chris waited under the oak tree for his bride to tap him on the shoulder. As Danielle walked up she was calm, yet so excited. They are truly best friends, and could not wait for this day to begin. Their first look was beautiful, and we love the way the talk to each other. They both are so comfortable with each other and she just melts right into his arms. Because they did a first look we were able to do all of the portraits before the ceremony, so they could maximize time with their guests! After portraits were finished, the bride and groom hid for a bit while guests arrived, and the guests was greeted with Peach Bellinis. Such an amazing way to start the celebration!

When Danielle and her dad walked down the aisle, everyone was in awe of her beauty, and her dad, Glen, had the biggest smile on his face! The ceremony started with a friend singing, and then Chris and Danielle’s vows had everyone in tears! Chris explained that before Danielle he was fine, life was great and he didn’t think he needed someone, and then he met Danielle and everything changed. As tears fell down his face, he explained how he fell in love madly and deeply, and couldn’t imagine living a single day without her! Oh how we love these two! They had a beautiful kiss, and as they walked back up the aisle their faces were beaming with joy!!

They had cocktail hour in the barrel room, as Tyler and his crew put the finishing touched on the reception details. We absolutely loved their spring decor! It felt so fresh with farm tables, brass flatware, clear chargers, and a sprig of an olive branch.  And their florals were all so incredible because it is PEONY season (our favorite flower), and Tyler did such a fabulous job on all the florals! We all enjoyed a delicious meal by Omni Catering, and as the day continued we got to meet more of their incredible family and friends, and hear more of their story from the speeches. We enjoyed every moment of capturing the celebrations and we are so excited to share a few of our favorites!
