Four Seasons Santa Barbara Wedding

Oh how we love couples who are best friends and madly in love with each other! These two were a dream to photograph and they were killin us with those flirtatious glances at each other all day.

Everything about this Four Seasons Santa Barbara Wedding was perfect, from the unbelievable Tiffany’s earrings to a backless Katie May dress & Vera Wang tux, and a couple who can make your heart melt by the way they look at each other.

From the very first email we received from this couple, we knew we were going to love them! Stu and Savannah have the kind of love you read about in a fairytale and they are so much fun to be around!

They are a gorgeous, and they love adventuring, and traveling as long as they are together. And when their true character comes out, they are beautiful through and through. They love to love each other, surprise each other, talk in silly voices, and sometimes when it’s just the two of them they’ll start to dance in the kitchen, and dance through their entire first dance for the wedding day! The way the hold each other close makes us tear up because for them everything disappears and it’s like there’s no one else around!

Stu is a doctor and Savannah is a nurse, at the same hospital! How cute is that?! They first saw each other passing through the hospital halls, and all it took was one night out with friends where they officially met and hit it off! They quickly fell for each other and every time they saw each other in the hallway it was changed from being just a glance to the cutest flirtatious smiles. On Valentines Day they both had to work, so Stu sent an urgent page for nurse Savannah to come to a room and then he was waiting there with flowers for her! Hello McDreamy! And when she got home there were even more roses and Valentines surprises! Oh how we love their love for each other! Their love makes every day exciting.

We love hearing the bride and grooms’s vision for the wedding day and then getting to photograph it as it comes to life!

And it brought us so much joy to see Stuart & Savannah’s dream come true at the Coral Casino at the Four Seasons Santa Barbara. We loved how the various gold and blush bridesmaid dresses looked next to each other, and just wait till you see the bridesmaid’s bouquets made of a giant dahlia! Peonies will always be our favorite flower, but dahlias are a very close second! And their reception took our breath away. Place settings of a custom menu on a gold charger, tied with blush ribbon and a sprig of rosemary, all over looking the ocean at sunset. It really felt like a dream!

People often ask what our favorite part of the wedding day is. And we have SO many favorite moments, but the “just married” photos immediately after the ceremony are definitely at the top! When the couple realizes they are officially married and well..it’s just kinda magical, and theirs was magical indeed. And we are so glad they did  first look! Their first look got us teary eyed, as we watched Stu pull out his handkerchief to blot Savannah’s tears off her face. And we were blown away by Stu’s thoughtfulness; he carried Savannah’s dress and veil all day long, never forgetting and never complaining. They have such a beautiful love for each other where they put the other person first.

Stu & Sav’s wedding was one of the best we’ve ever photographed at one of our favorite venues and we are so excited to share it with you!
