We have photographed hundreds of weddings, but we never seen anything like this!! Jon & Sarah had a magical ceremony under a 100 year old oak tree draped in white twinkle lights, and a cocktail hour on the lawn with a Ferris Wheel! Yes a ferris wheel! How crazy is that?! And the ferris wheel wasn’t just for looks, everyone got to ride it! We’re pretty sure that is the best cocktail hour we’ve ever heard of! Drink in hand, riding the Ferris Wheel overlooking Malibu Canyon. Yes please!

Now we could just stop right there, but it gets better! Jon and Sarah are best friends. And we believe the best love stories start with friendship. We were best friends before we started dating, and Jess really thought we would just be friends, but James was in hot pursuit and had very different plans. Well five years ago, one kiss changed everything and… here we are in December celebrating 4 years of marriage. They say friends make the best lovers, and the best part about being friends first is you have a solid foundation and know each other inside and out.

Jon and Sarah have been friends since their freshman year in college and started dating their senior year. They are extroverted through and through and love to adventure together and express their love to each other in every way possible. They truly are the best of friends and the second you meet them they feel like friends, because they are so good at making everyone feel welcome! They have warm smiles, big hearts, and they love so well.

Sarah is sweet, kind, and looked exactly like a Disney princess! Just wait till you see her incredible hairstyle by TaylerRad! We couldn’t decide if she looked more like Rupunzel or Elsa, but we ALL agreed that she is absolutely stunning! And Jon is strong and handsome, and also so kind and caring! His smile immediately makes you feel at home. And the second he saw Sarah’s as she was walking down the aisle he completed lost it! He said he thought he could hold it together, but the second he saw an inch of her dress he started balling! Oh how we love to capture those beautiful and emotional moments on the wedding day, and this wedding was filled with them! We are so excited to share this spectacular celebration with you!
