This is one of our favorite engagement sessions we have ever done! When Myra first contacted us and told us where she was getting married we were thrilled! Remember the wedding we did a few months back at The Park Savoy, where the ballroom looked like it was straight out of Beauty & the Beast? Well these two are getting married at the sister property The Park Cheatu, and it is like a photographer’s dream! Gorgeous ballroom, amazing architecture, and a marble staircase! Oh how we love weddings on the east coast, and we are already so excited for Fernando and Myra’s wedding!

After they officially booked us as their wedding photographers, we started to plan the engagement session. The coolest thing is, Myra is a photographer and she was already planning on coming to Showit United conference in Arizona where we were speaking and leading a shoot. So as we started talking locations, we realized we would all be in AZ at the same time, so why not do a desert engagement session?! We woke up before the sun rose, and hiked a small mountain to have a beautiful view of the city and sunrise! But what really stole the show was her gorgeous red dress! She looked like she walked straight off the red carpet! And her heels are fire!

We loved photographing them, and we love their connection! We’re so glad they got some time away from kids and got to just be together in Arizona. While the conference took up most of Myra’s time, Fernando was always ready to meet her and  celebrate the ways she was growing in her business. We watched as she sat front row, with a big smile on her face, and pushed past her wall to ask questions questions and move forward in wedding photography. It’s so clear Fernando is her biggest fan and number one encourager! He is strong and handsome, and loves her unconditionally and serves their family so well. Myra is cute, bubbly and creative. And when she wore the red dress to the Showit United Ball that same night, her beauty captured everyone’s attention!

We are so thankful we got to spend time getting to know this incredible couple, and we cannot wait for their wedding in March!
